The Four Worlds

Briah — the Creative World

The Queen scale belongs to Briah, the Creative World, and is the scale normally displayed on the sephiroth.

Part of The Four Worlds.

In this pattern

The first of the three verbs in Isaiah 43:7: bara, "I have created him". Cordovero reads the three verbs as the three lower worlds, in the order the verse gives them.

Creation is where there is something other than God to speak of. What is created here has no shape yet; shape is the next verb.

The Creative World, represented in this lens by Chokmah and Binah. Archangels are its characteristic sephirothic manifestation.

This is the one-Tree banding used by the Hermetic lens. Mathers also records a complete ten-sephirah Tree within each World; the two models answer different study questions.
