The Four Worlds
Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah and Assiah descend through the Tree, each carrying one of the Golden Dawn's four colour scales.
The four worlds of emanation. Each governs one of the Golden Dawn colour scales, which is why the scales are named as they are: King for Atziluth, Queen for Briah, Prince for Yetzirah, Princess for Assiah.
That is the tie worth noticing. Switching colour scale is not a theme change; it is a change of world.
